Paired with my integrative therapeutic massage, drawing on myofascial, neuromuscular, and Thai techniques, the Bodycraft Studio is a place where you can put down whatever you’ve been carrying and find real care, rest, and relief.
The Bodycraft Studio is nestled in the Heart of Therapy office space, a counseling practice focused on the needs of neurodivergent, queer, and chronically ill people (which, surprise, is exactly who I work with…so if you’re looking for a therapist, I highly encourage you to check out their services!).

accessibility + accommodations
I do my best to make massage accessible to all bodies and needs. If you know you need accommodations, please let me know in advance so I can plan accordingly.
My work is health at every size-aligned, and I treat all bodies with respect. You will never be judged for your body size, shape, hair, scars, gender identity, clothing, or any other part of you.
here are some things i do to improve accessibility in every session:
My table has a weight limit of 550lbs to safely treat bodies of various sizes
I only use scent-free, hypoallergenic products to reduce sensory overstimulation and accommodate allergies/sensitivities
All conversation is client-led and directed - sessions are quiet by default, with check-ins for pressure and techniques
Affirming bodywork that respects all identities
here are some examples of other accommodations I can make upon request, with advance notice:
Bringing extra pillows or bolsters for joint support and comfort
Additional coverings or a weighted blanket for grounding or warmth
Trauma-informed modifications, including:
more frequent check-ins on pressure and comfort
explicit consent at every step
Flexibility around body positioning, with adjustments for mobility, pain, or comfort needs
You can choose the music, or we can have a music-free session
a non-verbal signal to communicate needs around pressure
assistance getting on or off the table
extra transition time to accommodate clients with mobility challenges
moving my table from my basement studio (down one flight of stairs) to the ground floor of the office to make it wheelchair accessible

Massage therapy can help with pain relief, muscle tension, stress reduction, nervous system regulation, increased mobility, and improved circulation.
It can also support mental health by helping reduce anxiety, depression, and trauma-related stress responses.

I practice Integrative Therapeutic Massage, meaning I use a range of techniques to best meet the needs of each client.
The main techniques I use in my work are myofascial release, neuromuscular therapy, and Thai massage.
Myofascial release uses stretching/shearing/smearing techniques ranging from gentle/superficial to intense/deep to hydrate the fascia (connective tissue), reduce the impact of adhesions, improve mobility, heal scar tissue, and reduce nerve pain.
Neuromuscular therapy releases trigger points (“knots”) through targeted, specific pressure applied to areas where muscles are chronically contracted.
Thai massage, also known as Thai yoga massage, is both a physical and energetic modality that utilizes acupressure, stretching, and joint mobilization to improve proprioception and mobility.
I bring all of these modalities together to craft personalized sessions that meet your body exactly where it’s at.

Yes! I am a trans massage therapist who provides safe, affirming bodywork for LGBTQ+ individuals.
This is a space where you don’t have to explain or justify your identity.
-
Trauma-informed massage means I prioritize consent, safety, and client control throughout the session. I am aware of the ways trauma might show up in a session, so I check in frequently, respect all personal boundaries, and offer any modifications you may need to create a safe container for your massage.
Your session is an opportunity to practice the relational skills of boundary-setting, open communication, and having your needs honored by another.
I have done extensive research on trauma and the ways it impacts our brains and bodies, and I bring this knowledge with me to my practice.
-
Absolutely not. This is a body-positive and judgment-free space. Yur body is welcome as it is.
PS. Please don't feel any pressure to shave before appointments — recently shaved skin is going to be more sensitive, and I have no issues whatsoever working on clients with body hair! -
The Bodycraft Studio is located at 350 S. Main Street, Doylestown, PA, 18901. It is located in the Heart of Therapy office suite, Suite 213. It can be a bit tricky to find the right building at your first visit, so I recommend arriving 10 minutes early to ensure you get your full session time! There is a parking lot outside the office.

My personal massage studio is down one flight of stairs, however, we have a wheelchair accessible studio on the ground floor of the office where I can move my table upon request and with advance notice.

session FAQs:
-
Pressure levels are always customized to your comfort. Most sessions include a range of pressures throughout, as I work on superficial (near the skin) structures and deeper (further into the body) structures.
I can use gentle myofascial techniques or intentional deep tissue work, depending on what your body needs and your preferences.
If you’re looking for painfully deep pressure, I would recommend looking elsewhere - I tell my clients that we’re looking for a balance of “Ahh…” (relaxation) and “Ooh…?” (strange, confusing, & unusual sensations), but never “Ow!” (acute pain).
Please communicate with me during your session if I am causing you uncomfortable levels of pain.
-
Not at all! Some people like to chat, and others prefer quiet. I will follow your lead. I have questions on my intake form to learn more about your communication preferences and needs.
I will check in about pressure and comfort throughout the massage, and if you prefer fewer or more check-ins, just let me know.
We can also establish a non-verbal signal for a pressure check-in if speaking up feels difficult for you.
-
While most clients choose to undress fully or leave on only underwear, which allows for the widest range of therapeutic techniques to be performed, you never need to undress past your comfort level. If you prefer to stay fully clothed, I will modify my techniques to accommodate that.
Regardless, you will always be appropriately draped — any areas I'm not actively working on will be fully covered with both a sheet and blanket during the massage.
If we are doing a Thai mat session, which requires you to stay fully dressed, I ask that you come wearing loose-fitting, comfortable, stretchy clothes, similar to what you might wear to the gym (t-shirt, leggings, joggers, sweatpants, etc.).
-
Absolutely! I use unscented oil when I massage, and I can always modify sessions to limit conversation, adjust pressure, minimize background noise or music, and more. Just let me know what works best for you.
The waiting room in my building does have fragranced wax melts in it - if this is an issue for you, just let me know before your appointment, and I can meet you outside to minimize time spent in the lobby.
-
The recommended frequency of massage depends on your needs. For chronic pain, stress relief, or injury recovery, weekly or biweekly sessions might be ideal.
For general relaxation and wellness, a monthly massage can be beneficial.
We can discuss the best session length and schedule for you based on your issues, need, and ability.
Coming in consistently is going to be more impactful in the long run than coming in a ton for a few weeks.
-
Yes and yes! Prenatal massage is a safe and effective way to relieve pregnancy-related back pain, swelling, and stress. I use pregnancy-safe positioning and techniques to ensure comfort.

While not part of my usual offerings, i may be able to accommodate couples massages with another queer-affirming therapist by special request. Please reach out to me directly via text (215-360-3435) if this is something you're interested in.
Alternatively, check out my couple’s massage lesson offering - this gives you and a partner an opportunity to dive deep into the techniques I use in my practice, learn about pain science and management, practice clear communication and consent, and get guided hands-on instruction in ways to massage each other.
